Loulouka was created by parents for parents. Taking what already works and making it even better. Using the top milk sources in the world, eliminating palm oil, and working with full fat whole milk – this is what babies deserve. When you can't breastfeed, Loulouka should be your top choice.

Loulouka is a well-balanced baby formula made only from the finest essential ingredients and organic cows' milk sourced in Switzerland, designed for your baby's complex needs. Developed over years by a team with more than a decade of experience in the industry, these high-quality formulas are some of the best for your little one. From birth, babies need very specific vitamins, fats and minerals. Through a highly selective due diligence process, only the best ingredients and sources met rigorous standards and are chosen for use.

Loulouka redefines all standards. Babies need a high-fat diet to promote growth and brain development. Coconut oil is a concentrated source of calories and fat, better for babies than palm oil. Years of research proves that coconut oil supports increased absorption of essential fat. Loulouka made an important step and substituted palm oil with traditional coconut oil.

  • Doesn't work for my baby :(

After reading much about the better quality of European formulas as compared to American formulas and the great reviews I tried Loulouka Stage 2 for my baby who is used to drinking Similac Advance. My overall impression about Loulouka as compared to Similac was that the powder texture is finer and the prepared formula appears thinner in comparison which according to me is great as I need a formula that will not constipate. Plus I thought the coconut oil used in Loulouka would also make it a better choice from point of view of being non constipating. I was gradually trying to transition my baby, however I noticed a distinct change in the poop texture once I started Loulouka. Baby poop was more like playdough consistency and she was getting constipated. I really really wanted it to not be the formula and I stopped all the solids to rule out the possibilities but unfortunately it was the formula. :( Once I changed back to Similac Advance all was good with the poop with nice soft peanut butter texture. :D I tasted the formula myself and I thought it tastes better than Similac but I guess that takes lower priority compared to baby getting constipated. Baby didn't show a taste preference to either. For me it is Similac Advance in the end.

  • So glad we transitioned!

I was eager to try this formula with coconut oil and whole milk. When I first gave my baby the bottle she drank the whole thing! This normally didn't happen and after going from US formulas (bleh) to Holle Goat to Hipp Combiotik and now Loulouka it seems she has liked each one even better than the last. She has no problems with gas or constipation on this formula. As I start to wean/my supply drops, I'm so glad that this formula exists! She is doing well on it and seems to be having a growth spurt! She was born 3 months early so I'm extra sensitive about finding the best for her development.

  • Returning it

I just placed an order for Lebenswert again because my baby won’t drink the Loulouka. It formed a lot of bubbles and I’ve seen others say that it caused gas and constipation. I was hoping this wasn’t the case for us but it has been. Will be returning the two unopened boxes.

Not sure where you read those reviews as this is the offical source of reviews at the moment. The bubbles you see if "froth" due to the formula being whole fat. Its what many parents desire compared to skim formulas. This can be solved using Dr. Browns bottles. Some babies do better with other formulas. Loulouka has higher iron then other European brands but less then USA brands. e cal that a sweet middle. Could be why it caused your baby some constipation. Try again after taking to solids better! Hope his helps.

  • I'm a convert

I was using Holle stage 2 for my eight-month-old, and while I was very happy with it, I decided to give Loulouka a try, since I try to avoid palm oil as much as possible. In addition to better ingredients, I found the Loulouka dissolved more easily (even with hot water I sometimes have issues with the Holle). My daughter transitioned from one formula to the other without issue. One minor annoyance is that the Loulouka scoop doesn't fit as nicely into the powder nest (it's a bit tight). I also wish all Loulouka stages were free of maltodextrin, but that's only the case with stage 1. I don't really understand why lactose cant be used in the whole line. These minor issues aside, I'm very happy with the formula and have ordered in bulk to get us through the next few months.

  • Is this even formula?

This product smells and tastes NOTHING like the other organic formula we've used for my son. I actually think it's delicious. We will definitely be sticking with this brand.

  • High quality and good taste, but still uses Rapeseed (Canola) oil

I'm thrilled to see progress in formula using full-fat milk and healthy coconut oil. My little one enjoys this. The consistency of the powder is much finer than some of the other formula, so I'd highly recommend a separate container like the powder nest. Unfortunately, this formula (like all the others) still uses Canola/Rapeseed oil, which has been linked to several health problems and is under heavy scrutiny. Hopefully Loulouka can update a future version without it!

  • Loulouka Stage 2

The scoop is easier to use on a small mouth bottle and the formula dissolves faster than our old brand. My baby loved the taste but it unfortunately gave her a diaper rash. We had switch back to her old formula (HIPP). Both good formulas, I just wanted to try Loulouka because it had coconut oil instead of palm oil.

My son usually drinks Holle but when Organic Start introduced Loulouka I decided to try it. He loved it just as much, and it gave him no tummy trouble. I also love that it's made with coconut oil!!
